Flower Frenzy

The flowers in our studio are blooming like crazy -- our sculpted clay flowers of course.  All of these flowers have genuine Swarovski crystal centers and a special snap embedded in back so they can be easily added to our different necklace components.  They can be arranged in different color combinations or pop one onto a hair barrette, bracelet or ring.

We wanted to have a good supply of items for the Craft Culture show this weekend so have been putting in long days.

Necklace in Tangerine Tango and Pantone 2012 Fall Colors

Here is one of our latest floral bead necklaces in the Tangerine Tango.  I used one of my "sculpted flower beads" as the main focal combined with large round beads made with my floral petal cane slices and rondelle spacer beads in the matching Tangerine color.

I am finally getting around to listing some new jewelry pieces like this one in our Artfire studio and will be adding more pieces when I have some spare time in between working on orders.

I finally pulled out my Pantone swatches and the Pantone Fall fashion report so I can mix up some new clay colors for the coming season.  Tangerine Tango is Pantone's "color of the year" so is of course included in this fall's color palette.

New Beads in Bloom

I've been working on some new floral beads for our new summer designs.  Here is an assortment that are ready to be strung in this years Pantone Spring colors.   The blues are a combination of Sodalite blue and Cockatoo with Solar Power.  The others are in Tangerine Tango, Cabaret and Solar Power.

New Flowers from Spliced Floral Canes

Here are some flowers I made from the spliced floral canes I showed you yesterday.  All of these flowers are not finished off yet but they are baked and ready to be used for various projects.

Here are some shawl pins I made from the same canes as well.

These shawl pins (and more) were delivered to several Kamloops stores today.  One of the stores, Electrictree Yarns, is new and will be opening next week Tuesday.
