Announcing our New Website On-line Store

Dave and I are happy to announce that our new online store is now up and running and you can check it out here.  We are still stocking "shelves" with more items which should fill up over the next week or so.  We will still be selling from our Etsy shop but an online store such as this allows us to have more of our handcrafted items available.

The prices may seem a little different from our Etsy shop but the difference is that our new online store is in Canadian dollars.

Regarding my tutorials and the European VAT tax situation, we will still be selling our tutorials through Etsy as instant downloads.  If you are from Europe and would prefer any tutorials purchased to be sent by e-mail, they are also available in our online store.

  2. Thanks Tara! Did you notice your lovely photo we used on the front page slide show as well as the button section? If you click on the one in the button section it goes to your site. Will try and promote you more when I can.

  3. It’s pretty cool that you were able to branch your store out into its own website. And I think it was a good decision to keep your Etsy and Artfire stores, if only for your tutorials and such. Not only can you make use of it as a way to sell your tutorials, you could also divert those clients to peruse your wares in your new store! Keep up the good work, Carolyn and Dave!

  4. Thanks Madeline. It took a lot of hours to set up but so glad we jumped in and did it. I know it will be worth it in the long run.

  5. Congrats! As a marketer, I can tell you even the smallest business should take advantage of the huge benefits offered by the Internet. I've advised thousands of business owners and have yet to encounter one that's regretted taking the dive. I think the site looks great and I know a year from now, you'll have no regrets about this move.

  7. Your new website looks great, and it’s simple to use! I ordered a lot of your things off of Etsy, but I’ll be sure to use your website from now on, because it’s much easier to sort through all of your items. I just have to say, I’m a huge fan of your snap art rings!

  8. Does your online shop display correctly for mobile users? Having a responsive website is a must these days, since so many people shop from their tablets and smartphones. You can have a separate mobile website for visitors to view your handcrafted jewelry easily, however, a responsive online store would render properly on all devices.

  9. I haven't had a chance to finish the set-up for mobile devices -- I know my bad. It takes a lot of hours to set up these things and had a few medical issues which have set us back a bit in getting things done. I am currently working on it again now so should be good to go in the next day or so. Thanks for the reminder!
