Feathers in Denim Blue

These feather jewelry pieces are in a soft denim blue.

The colors came from a special order request for feather zipper pulls.  She was designing and sewing a dress and wanted something unique as an accent.  Here they are on her beautiful summer dress:

Summer has finally arrived here after a late start with plenty of rain.  Things have been so busy we were glad to take some time out to visit with family.  Some of them are so beautiful we couldn't miss the opportunity to photograph them modeling our jewelry.

Summer Artisan Sale in Westwold

We are fortunate to have found an Etsy Artisan group where we are all located in the beautiful Okanagan area here in British Columbia.

One of the cool things about belonging to such a group is that we can actually get together and meet rather than just connecting over the internet.  One of these occasions is happening this weekend in a little town called Westwold.

One of our members has organized our very own Etsy Artisan show and sale  this Saturday (May 21).  We are looking forward to a great time with making new friends and getting to know some of our fellow artisans.

It is going to be a great weekend as Westwold is right next door to the town of Falkland where they are having their famous Stampede Rodeo.  We will have our Country Charm collection available as well as our buttons, shawl pins and other new pieces we've been working on.

Well I spent the last few days reducing all of our feather canes and shaping them into beads for necklaces, boot jewelry and earrings.

We now have plenty of sanding and finishing to do over the next few days as well as working on a fresh new look for our displays at the Cowboy Festival which starts a week from today - March 11.  It is going to be an exciting event with plenty of food, fun and entertainment!

Name the Category Contest

We are expanding our product line and would like our readers help in choosing a new catchy name for the category.  Our new line will have a distinctive "western" theme and as the name "Cowgirl Bling" has already been taken, we need to find another.  This is just the start of our new western and nature themed line and we will be posting more pics as we add to it.
