New Home Decor Pieces

I made my first soap/trinket dish for a housewarming gift for some friends.  Their home decor is in silver, grey and black so decided to go with a leaf pattern in those shades.  This was actually my first prototype and I love how the design worked out and plan to make more in different styles.

I hadn't made any candle collars in a while but finally got around to finishing a new set in the chandelier style for a wedding gift.  Their home decor colors were similar to our friends so went with the same leaf pattern.

Snowflake Cane Candle Collar

Here is a candle collar (bobeche) I made with my snowflake canes.  I'm in the process of doing more with it in between all my other projects I'm working on for the upcoming Christmas shows.

Wedding Bells & Candles

I've been pretty busy with a lot of things these days and looking at the calendar noticed that June is already fast approaching.  Time just seems to be flying and it is time to be thinking about weddings already.

When I
originally designed my first set of candle collars, it was to add a nice accent to our dining table as well as protect the furnishings from melted wax.  One client saw them and commissioned me to design a pair for the head table at her wedding.

I also had a request for a pair of candle collars without the chandelier pieces (shown below) which are nice as well.

These are fun to do and I've done them in dozens of colors and designs.  It got me thinking about setting up a wedding section on Art Fire and Etsy so check it out.

Jewelry for your Home

Have you ever had candle wax drip down onto your furniture or ruin a beautiful table cloth? These candle collars are our own design which will not only catch any melting wax but also add a chandelier effect to any candle holder. Like our decorative tiles and outlet covers, these can also be custom made in your colors.

You can see more designs on our flickr site.
